Residential Surveyor Jobs |
Residential Surveyor jobs and vacancies available across the UK:
Residential Surveyors can be Maintenance Surveyors or Building Surveyors who conduct inspections on purely residential properties, for Local Authorities, Housing Associations, or private practices who are working on local authority stock. Inspecting houses, that are either tenanted or void (empty) surveyors will conduct either reactive (or day to day) inspections, following repair requests that are made from tenants (Maintenance Surveyor position) or planned, or cyclical works such as kitchen, bathroom or roofing replacements, that are larger projects and tend to occur every 3 – 5 years, and are more intricate than reactive maintenance works. Can also involve looking at estates within a housing block, to improve community areas. Experience is the key to success in obtaining these roles, and 3+ years within a Local Authority or Housing Association are the main requirement for this field which is experiencing a skills shortage. For Building Surveying roles, RICS or CIOB would be an advantage. See our Residential Surveyor vacancies below or speak to one of our recruitment consultants for further information. |
