Corporate Fundraiser jobs and vacancies available across the UK; Corporate Fundraiser jobs include working within the Charity and Not for Profit sector with corporate clients.   Your main focus is building lasting and valuable relationships to effectively fundraise for your charity.
 
Some companies take a philanthropic approach, donating money from a charitable budget or adopting the charity as their ‘Charity of the Year’.  In such cases, these companies expect to be informed of how their money is spent and require good client services skills.   Other opportunities would be initiatives such as payroll giving and employee volunteering. Most companies expect a commercial benefit from the partnership and are interested in sponsorship, sales promotions and other cause related marketing opportunities.  So, corporate fundraisers are expected to be good negotiators as well as planners and organisers. 

Corporate fundraising jobs require key skills; good research skills are needed, as you’ll need to find out who makes the decisions in the company, what they support, how they are structured and how the business is performing.  Communications and presentation skills are also important, as you’ll need to ‘sell’ your proposal to the company. You will normally work within the Fundraising Marketing and Communications department.
