Trust Fundraiser jobs and vacancies available across the UK: Trust Fundraiser jobs range from a Trust Fundraising Assistant up to Head of Trust Fundraising.  You will be recruited directly by a charity to develop, facilitate or make tailored fundraising approaches to Trusts, Foundations and Lottery Distributors 

A Trust Fundraiser will also undertake desk-based research into existing and prospective funders to approach and prioritise those to contact regarding major grants or donations and determine the best projects and fundraising approach for each job. Your job also includes liaising with service providers within the charity to build up the case for support and develop relationships with potential donors.   

These vacancies require you to have key skills in research skills; as a lot of time will be spent trawling through directories, the Internet, library resources and networks for potential funding.  Excellent written skills are needed to put together funding proposals and complete application forms.  You’ll need to be able to ‘match’ your work to the funders criteria and explain clearly why they should give. Attention to detail is paramount as funders have strict recruitment criteria about whom they will fund.
