As a Traffic Technician you are likely to be working in a government agency such as a London Borough or the Highway Agency, or an engineering consultancy that provides services for a government agency such as Mott MacDonald, Atkins or Mouchel Parkman.
As a Traffic Technician you will generally support the traffic engineering teams on a diverse range of major and minor projects. A knowledge of traffic related issues, such as Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ's) and other road systems is required. ONC/ HND qualified, you will also need strong IT and AutoCAD skills, as well as an ability and desire to work on a diverse range of projects, communicating with others about project objectives and details.
