A Site Agent is the person in charge of a building contract and, as such, must be aware and in control of all aspects of site operations, including the planning of site progress. It is the manager/agent who has responsibility for both the profitability of operations and adherence to the agreed construction and cost plans.

The Site Agent focuses on leading regular site meetings with quantity surveyors, building services engineers, foremen and subcontractors. The Site Agent will maintain constant contact with the client who has commissioned the building while maintaining strict quality control procedures such as visual inspections of work and frequent tours of the site, conducting regular site safety checks and ensuring the project runs to schedule and to budget, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays, i.e. late arrival of materials.

To be suitable for this role you will ideally be degree qualified and will have a minimum of 6 months of Site Engineering or Civil Engineering experience and have been actively involved in the running of the Site.
