Rail Project Planner Jobs

Rail Project Planner jobs and vacancies available across the UK:

Planner jobs within the Rail industry require you to prepare programmes for projects within industries such as buildings, mechanical & electrical or telecoms. A Rail Planner is responsible for developing programmes from the initial tender stage, through pre-construction and finally the main construction stages.

You will endeavour to make the most economical use of labour, plant and materials and schedule the events required to complete the project in a logical sequence. The programmes are usually produced on bar charts using specialist software, Primavera and Power Project being the most common. Progress of each construction project is continually monitored and events are rescheduled where necessary to prevent overall delay.

See our Rail Planner vacancies below or speak to one of our recruitment consultants for further information.
