Anchor Retirement Housing is part of Anchor Trust - the largest not-for-profit provider of housing, support and care services for older people in England.

They are dedicated to the provision of housing and support services that are truly valued by our tenants. Their philosophy is to help older people to maintain control over their lives. They also strive to ensure that retirement housing schemes provide safe and secure environments for tenants to help them live full and independent lives.

Established in 1968, Anchor have considerable experience of managing complex relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in order to deliver a high quality housing and support service. Their not-for-profit values ensure that older people - not profit - are at the heart of their business model. Anchor achieve Best Value services by working in partnership with housing, social services and health professionals in most local authority areas throughout England.

Locations

Anchor have over 24,000 flats and bungalows to rent, located at over 650 developments throughout England. These vary from a group of individual bungalows, which are self-managing, to large schemes with over 90 double flats.
