Facilities Manager - Milton Keynes - up to £50,000 - 3 year contract

My client requires a strong, credible FM professional & will suit an ambitious person with drive, gravitas & presence. A real people's person confident, capable & strong written / verbal communication.

Exciting new opportunity working with one of the leading Facilities management providers in the UK. Eden Brown are looking for an experienced, professional individual who is seeking the next step in their career working with this iconic trail blazing company.

Main Purpose and Objectives
* Proven track record of delivery at contract management level
* Good awareness of all legislative requirements
* To lead, motivate, and provide direction to the on site team within their area of control to ensure the achievement of targets, to include cash flow management.
* To ensure effective training and development for key positions within their area of control and to manage own personal development and maintain knowledge levels in field of expertise.
* To ensure effective management of and communication with staff within their control and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures in relation to absence management, disciplinary procedures etc.
* To manage and evaluate objectives for their area of business and maintain operations to meet and exceed agreed quality standards.
* Manage and implement FM service delivery, maintaining operational and commercial compliance whilst meeting client expectations. Be a driver and integrator of excellence in customer service and delivery, instilling a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Responsible for ensuring the financial performance, customer satisfaction, health & safety, and environmental performance in their area of responsibility
* Support the team training programme
* Champion basic management responsibilities set out in the HR Processes:
* Induction of new employees
* Appraisal and development activities
* Performance management as required
* Promoting health & safety awareness and skills
* Demonstrate experience of managing Health & Safety compliance
* Ability to prioritise works
* High attention to detail
* Must be numerate and computer literate
* Good communication skills
* Proactive, enthusiastic with a high work rate

  • Health-care background - ESSENTIAL
  • Hard services bias - ESSENTIAL
