Job description

My client in Huddersfield are looking for an enthusiastic and personable architect or architectural technician for a 3 months contract to work to help them clear a large bottle neck of work within their existing, close-knit team of experienced Architects, Technologists and Technicians.

You will be working on residential projects for the most part, schemes £1,000,000-25,000,000 in size all over the UK - a variety of residential projects covering both new build and refurbishment - your workload will include:
- Scheme designs from inception
- Detailed scheme designs for planning applications
- Producing working drawings/specifications
- Production of Planning, Building Control and Construction Issue Drawings
- Chairing client meetings
- Attending site and liaising with clients and contractors

You will need:

Residential Experience
2-3 years (5 years if a technician/technologist) post qualification experience, however they will consider ambitious newly qualified Architect with a flair for Design.

High degree of proficiency in:

AutoCAD/Revit/SketchUp/Photoshop/InDesign/MS Office
A strong technical ability in main forms of construction
Experience in UK Building and Planning regulations/procedures
Good interpersonal, communication and written articulation skills
A team player with the determination to drive projects forward
An organised and methodical approach to your work

Successful applicants can expect a salary of upto £40000 plus benefits including:
