Large Almo in the East Midlands are currently recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial services team.

JOB PURPOSE:
Lead, develop and promote the Quantity Surveying and Project
Management services providing strategic and operational
direction to the Head of Construction working with tenants and
other key stakeholders to make our communities a great place to
live and work.

Main Accountability's:
- Leads tenders from inception to project launch including
Accountability's control of all commercial and financial aspects of projects.

- Delivers excellent Quantity Surveying services using
expert knowledge to meet corporate objectives

- Manage matters that may give rise to a contractual claim

- Deliver monthly financial statements/reports for projects
forecasting the anticipated total final cost including
financial provisions included in the contract and other
direct payments and report to the almo as required.

-Significant experience working for a construction /
housing related organisation.
· Experience of managing commercial staff.
· Have good techniques and processes for tracking progress
with tasks assigned to others and for dealing with delivery
issues.
· Substantial experience of preparing, monitoring and controlling
budgets within a value for money framework
· Considerable experience in business and financial planning
and management.

£40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
+ benefits
