Our client, a professional services and investment management firm specialising in real estate are looking for a Senior / Associate Chartered Building Surveyor to join their team in Manchester.

The Manchester team has a long track record of working with blue chip clients on a wide variety of high profile commercial Building Surveying & Project Management work.

They are seeking the following to join a well-established and high performing team :

A RICS qualified Building Surveyor. The role will entail delivering a wide spectrum of traditional Building Surveying instructions and working with others in the team to establish, grow client relationships and generate business.

What this job involves:
- Undertaking Building Surveyor's inspections and preparing reports
- Preparing specifications for, and administering, repair and refurbishment contracts
- Preparing and negotiating schedules of dilapidations/preparing exit strategies
- Preparing planned preventative maintenance plans
- Undertaking building reinstatement cost assessments
- Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required
- Making sustainable business links with both external and internal clients and offering a professional and excellent client service at all times
- Business generation involvement.
To apply you need to be / have:
- MRICS status
- A proven commercial track record, together with experience of client relationship building and business generation- Ability to work under tight time constraints in order to deliver high quality service
- Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent client skills
- Must have strong verbal and numerical skills, and be comfortable with report writing
- Requires excellent time management and general organisational skills
- Is required to be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure
- Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills
