Facilities/Floor Ambassador


The Strand

Eden Brown is currently working with a leading maintenance provider who are currently recruiting for a floor ambassador to work on one of their prestigious sites based in The Strand area. This great opportunity is a chance for somebody who is keen and enthusiastic to get into a role in which they can progress and get on with there career in.

Duties include:

  • To plan and prioritise own work allocation according to the needs of the site as determined by the Facilities Manager.
  • Carry out daily building walks and regular supplier audits to check key deliverables such as: -
  1. Act as the 'face' of the building and provide proactive innovative solutions and resolution of all Pearson user issues and provide Visible assistance when required
  2. End user engagement
  3. Cleaning standards maintained against specification
  4. M&E standards are maintained against specification
  5. Meeting rooms set ups are complete in agreed layout formats, AV is working, and signage is current and in place
  6. Hazard and defect reporting
  7. Welfare areas, client department cleanliness managed and monitored
  8. Generate suggestions for continuous improvement and innovation
  9. Report back to Facilities Manager on any issues.
  10. Ensure any tickets are logged and progress is checked daily
  • Support the Facilities Manager in the management of all sub-contracted services and ensure all services provided are resourced and maintained to a high standard and within the client's guidelines. Including the competent completion of inductions, ATWs, DRAs when required
  • Support the Facilities Manager in monitoring services and suppliers and ensure that the required standards are maintained ensuring SLA's & KPI's are achieved.
  • Support the Facilities and Assistant Facilities Managers in ensuring the site remains compliant with current Health & Safety legislation at all times. Including but not limited to, workrite, firerite, first aid and fire wardens
