Mechanical Construction Manager

There are two positions available here for a mechanical construction manager. If you would like to work on a £16.5m retail shell and core or £30m commercial shell and core then please read on.

The Mechanical Construction Manager

The two projects are as follows:

Waterloo - The new retail project will provide 130,000 sq ft of new retail space to be built under London's Waterloo station. The retail development has been approved by Lambeth Council as part of the revamp of the iconic train station.

Beneath the five platforms that once welcomed Eurostar passengers, which has not been in use since 2007 when Eurostar moved to St Pancras, three new retail floors will be constructed.

The MEP Shell & Core works consist of the following: gas works, condenser water, LTHW, smoke vent, HVAC, BMS, hot and cold water, above ground drainage, sprinklers, HV and LV works, power, data, telecoms, fire/voice alarm and SISS.

One Braham - Phase 2 of Aldgate Developments' redevelopment of Aldgate, the newly built One Braham will have triple access point floorplates of c.20,000 sq ft. It will incorporate exposed ceilings, two cafes in reception, large roof terraces and an internal winter garden/atrium, with stunning sunset views of nearly every conceivable London icon.

The building will appeal to more creative companies or those seeking a contemporary fit out, whilst availing of outstanding transport connections. It will have two entrances and front onto the new Braham Park. Completion Q1 2020.

The Company

The company you'll be working for are an international M&E contractor with a base in London. Turning over nearly £100m in the UK alone you'll be joining a large, well oiled machine delivering multiple, prestigious projects.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 5 years in a Mechanical Site Manager/Supervisor role

A background in large commercial projects (ideally on projects £10M+)

Trade background advantageous - Qualified with relevant C&G or NVQ's

Relevant site qualifications including SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid at Work and CSCS

Natural leadership and communication skills


The successful candidate can expect to receive an annual salary of up to £65,000 p.a. depending on experience with an additional package.
