Job description

Fantastic opportunity for a Handyman to join a well-respected facilities management company on a temporary contract until January 2020. You will be employed on a temporary on-going contract with a view of being made permanent. The role is working Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with some weekend work.

As a Handyman you will be required to carry out handyman tasks and duties across the site.

Your daily duties will include:

- Carrying out PPM and complete the associated paperwork
- Carrying out small decorating and plumbing duties.
- Attending meetings, training and appraisal activities.
- Supervision (escorting) of sub-contractors on site.
- Carrying out any reasonable request to perform duties which are normal custom and practice in a Maintenance Building Services environment.
- Support the stores team when required.

It is essential that you have experience of building maintenance, good knowledge of health and safety and be able to work in a prison environment. You will be required to be security cleared to work on the site.
