Job description

Our client is looking for a facilities assistant would be looking after two adjoining buildings on a split shift.

Accountabilities:

-To make sure that all working areas in these premises are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety and presentation.

-Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations to make certain that all company Health and Safety policies, procedures are adhered too.

-Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisor / Site Manager.

-Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage of equipment are always followed.

-Ensure cupboards are kept clean and locked when not in use.

-Be used to working under pressure, problem solve and to use their initiative when necessary.

-Open and close buildings both buildings.

The hours for this would be 6.30am to 9.30am. The Professional Centre requires cleaning in the evening and then locking up along with the Community Centre locking if not in use, hirers will lock this up themselves if the premises is still in use after 7pm.

Cleaning of the Professional side and locking up is from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Total hours per day 5 (3hrs am & 2hrs pm) Monday to Friday.
