Job Title: Account Director

Location: London

Max Annual Salary: £80,000

Vacancy Type: Full Time Permanent

Are you an experienced Account Director looking for a new challenge and interested in joining a well established Facilities Management provider? Our client is looking for a strong candidate to join their team and run one of their current contracts.

The Account Director is responsible for leading one of our customer focused business units within the Division. They are ultimately responsible for the success of the business unit with responsibility to:

  • Ensure delivery of target budget
  • Ensure delivery of service standard
  • Ensure compliance with group HSE policy
  • Lead and manage workforce and supporting infrastructure
  • Development of BU business plan /market sector

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Development of BU strategy
  • Development of BU business plans to target market
  • Establish drive and monitor project management practices
  • Establish BU budget, deliver target profits and control costs
  • Effect ethical behaviours within teams
  • Drive/support contractual arrangement through negotiations and use of group guidelines and best practice
  • Ensure current and emerging techniques/practices are known and implemented where appropriate.
  • Drive the delivery of quality in services and products
  • Identify contract critical success factors, translates and communicates to the team & monitor.
  • Identify business opportunities and communicate to BDM.
  • Promotes and actively participates in knowledge share events, particularly across Customer specific sector.
  • Reviews monthly and annual costs to ensure that there is no unnecessary waste and to maximise profit.
  • Understands the importance of accurate cash flow reporting to the business and the client

approach to appraising and utilising engineering systems.

  • Takes a holistic approach to appraising options considering project wide impacts and opportunities for improvement.
  • Encourages similar attributes across the project.
  • Actively targets opportunities to exceed customer expectations.
  • Creates environment for project team to seek improvement.

CSCS: CSCS Desired but not required
Qualifications: Construction/FM Degree desired
Professional Membership: IWFM/CIOB desired
Relevant Experience: 5 years' experience in a similar role leading a large account desired
