Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Transport for London

Max Annual Salary: £38,000 (Please remember that the Max Annual Salary is just a guideline for what the manager could pay if they find the right candidate).

Vacancy Type: Full Time Permanent

Summary of Role:
Working supervisor who has a flexible approach and to take responsibility for 6 engineers covering various buildings within the London area. To work alongside the Facilities Coordinator and to be able meet tight deadlines. This role has a requirement to undertake some administration tasks and for the successful candidate to have an understanding of statutory compliance.

The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to manage all elements assigned to them in a professional and safe manner. The role will involve responsibility for the administration and delivery of working processes within their team, delivering planned and reactive maintenance regimes, compliance with VINCI health and safety requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual SLA's, supporting the compliant delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works in accordance with set procedures.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Ensure individual and team activities are in compliance with all healthcare estate statutory, contractual, HBN and HTM requirements.
* Specifically responsible for ensuring the team under their control is fully staffed for efficient deployment.
* Liaise with and manage contractors to ensure services are delivered to plan and approved cost.
* Liaise with Trust staff as and when required during the coordination of planned and reactive activities
* Review all documentation, reports and service sheets when required for accuracy prior to issue.
* Attend and actively participate in Meetings.
* Detailed understanding and control of the CAFM system.
* Provide information for Monthly Reports and as required.
* Provide Technical Reports on system issues as and when required.
* Manage and Supervise all labour associated with delivering the service.
* Provide planned and reactive maintenance duties across a broad range of Building fabric & Civil services and equipment.
* Manage and maintain all records associated with delivering the service ensuring faults are repaired in time.
* Fulfilling and Undertaking the required training for the roles where necessary of Authorised & Competent Persons
* Maintenance of adequate records, quality of service and maintenance of system safety (integrity).
* Undertaking technical audits of contractors and direct labour performance
* Ensure individual and team activities comply with Vinci method statements and task instructions.
* Administer when necessary and comply with the permit to work system for the areas of responsibility
* Coordinate any absence management requirements associated with staff within their team.


7189 - Refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications required.

Relevant Experience:

Previous maintenance supervisory experience on multiple sites with knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM and reactive tasks;
