Job description

I am looking for a Senior CPO Valuer for my client based in Waltham Forest!

Your purpose:

  • To directly manage the development and performance of the Compulsory Purchase team in the provision of Professional advice in relation to compulsory purchase and statutory valuations.
  • To lead the team in the management of the Council's properties affected by compulsory purchase or statutory acquisition proposals including lease renewals, rent reviews, rent collection and debt recovery.
  • To allocate and oversee caseload and prioritise work according to Council priorities and needs.
  • To establish and encompass working relationships with stakeholders including members and services.

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan and ensure service delivery within a complex / diverse service area. Control operational activities within the service area and ensure professional standards are delivered.
  • Manage responses to complex professional or politically sensitive issues within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure the development and delivery of continuous improvements in all aspects of the service.
  • Manage key relationships with delivery partners /providers /suppliers to commission / manage / evaluate / enhance appropriate service delivery / capacity within area of responsibility.
  • Ensure the necessary standards relating to safeguarding best practices/protocols are effectively communicated, monitored and maintained.
