Job description

Large local authority in the Oxfordshire area are looking for a PMO lead - compliance for an initial period of 9 months.

-Working with the Development Board and other Council Boards where appropriate, you will be responsible for co-ordinating a multi-million pound portfolio of high profile capital projects across the City, many of which are linked to the successful delivery of the Growth Deal.
-Deploying a suite of project management tools, techniques, frameworks as well as maximising the use of digital tools and data analytics, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and reporting on progress on our development programme to make a positive difference to residents and businesses city-wide.
-An important part of this role is to provide challenge and support to people at all levels across the organisation to prepare robust ideas, proposals and business cases as part of the process of project development. You will also identify resource gaps, training and support needs to support the delivery of viable, feasible and cost effective solutions to project development and delivery.

This is an exciting new role to facilitate the successful delivery of property compliance projects making a positive difference for residents and businesses across the City.

You will:

Have experience in supporting the development and delivery of large scale major development projects

Have knowledge of and experience of project management techniques to successfully deliver projects and programmes of work.

Be a great communicator and bring people along on this exciting journey, including senior managers, partners and stakeholders

Be outcome focused and driven to accelerate the successful delivery of projects

Love working collaboratively to test, tweak and embed new ways of working that deliver projects within budget, on time and meeting clearly defined outcomes

Actively coach, provide training and support people across the organisation to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Identify areas of development and progress asset compliance by supporting project and building managers.
