Facilities Coordinator, Didcot

£25,000 (Please remember that the Max Annual Salary is just a guideline for what the manager could pay if they find the right candidate).

The role reports into the site Facilities Manager and the candidate will work alongside the existing Facilities Co-ordinator. The main purpose of the role is to work alongside the client's in-house helpdesk to log work orders and issue the jobs to relevant personnel or sub-contractors and to follow the work order through to completion and ensure relevant paperwork is stored correctly.

It is the responsibility of the Facilities Coordinator to manage all elements assigned to them in a professional and safe manner. The specific details will vary depending on the nature of the Account and the range of facilities, assets and service lines being managed. Adherence to agreed working processes, planned and reactive maintenance regimes and health and safety requirements are all key parts of the role.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Works with the Facilities Managers to develop management resource plans to meet operational needs and effects change where required
  • Actively manage the Suppliers to deliver best value into the Account
  • Support the Account Manager and Commercial teams in managing the finances of the Account
  • Ensure correct commercial procedures are followed to ensure the Clients budgets requirements are adhered to and the Account is not exposed to financial risk.
  • Early identification of business risks in projects and ensuring that risk management, risk registers and contingency are in place to manage and minimise risk
  • Understand the requirements of the VINCI quality policy and procedures and how these are applied to individuals own role.
  • Ensure compliance with VINCI Facilities procedures
  • Work to the principle that Innovation is an essential management capability which will be a key factor in the sustainability of the Account
  • Utilise CAFM system to maximum effect on the Account: operational delivery, commercial and demonstrating best practice
  • Be aware of new technological applications within the industry

Qualifications:

SSSTS (desirable) My client are happy to put the right candidate through the course.

Relevant Experience:

Some previous Facilities co-ordinator experience or a good administrative background
