Job description

Large Local authority in the Cambridgeshire area are currently looking for an energy assessor to join their asset management team.

Purpose of the role:
Undertake SAP assessments and calculations.

Undertake independent domestic and commercial building energy audits.

Ensure EPC certificates are provided for the Councils properties as required.

Obtain and submit meter readings for solar PV installations installed on Council properties (on quarterly basis) to ensure Feed in Tariffs and exported energy income is received and accounted for

Undertake energy and sustainability appraisals of the housing stock and other buildings and develop and deliver projects to complete improvements.

Deal with utility metering enquiries and maintain the database of metered and unmetered supplies

Assist in the identification of new capital projects, prepare scheme appraisals that describe the work, prepare budget costs and prioritise when the work is needed

Deliver sustainable design advice to our colleagues and tenants and leaseholders

Maintain the energy database

Build effective relationships with our tenants and leaseholders.

Display a 'right first time' attitude to service delivery.
