Mobile Repair Technician - Facilities Management
Derbyshire
Up to £30,000 + Van + Overtime & Benefits

Great new opportunity to join this leading Facilities Management services provider in one of their high profile Distribution centre.
It is the responsibility of the Mobile Repair Technician to manage all elements assigned to them in a professional and safe manner. The specific details will vary depending on the nature of the Account and the range of facilities, assets and service lines being managed
Establishment and administration of working processes planned and reactive maintenance regimes, health and safety management and support to the Account commercial team are all key parts of the role.
Generally reporting to the Senior Engineer, the role will involve pro-actively managing planned and reactive work orders and liaising with the Customer Support Centre to close out work orders and enable effective communications into the team and the Customer.

CSCS:
beneficial not directly required for the role

Qualifications:
Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent in a relevant trade or have proven industry experience.
Professional Membership:
Any professional memberships relating to the role

Relevant Experience:
Craft Apprenticeship or equivalent in a relevant trade or have proven industry experience.
Working as a mobile technician carrying out fabric reactive and PPM activities
Experience within the railway environment will be an advantage but is not essential as Personal Track Safety (PTS) training can be provided
Applicants must have a clean UK driving licence


Tasks & Responsibilities:

- The role will report directly to the Senior Engineer or Technical & Compliance Services Manager and advised at the start of your service
- Ensure PDAs (i pads) are used to maximum effect in managing the close out of planned and reactive work orders
- Pro-actively use the Concerto CAFM platform to improve operating efficiency including the use and development of V forms.
- Ensure that the systems are also used to full effect to support our Customers business objectives and the delivery of KPI & SLA targets
- Support the FM Service Delivery Manager in implementing the successful management strategy for the Account.
- Comply with the systems established to support the operational needs of the Account to optimise the management of all planned and reactive works
- Works with the Senior Engineer or Technical & Compliance Services Manager to develop management resource plans to meet operational needs and effects change where required
- Where necessary, work with Suppliers to deliver excellence in service into our Customers
- Pro-actively manage feedback of information back into Concerto CAFM through effective use of the PDAs (i pads)
- Understand the financial requirements of the Account.
- Support the FM Service Delivery Manager and Commercial teams in managing the finances of the Account
- Ensure correct commercial procedures are followed to ensure the Clients budgets requirements are adhered to and the Account is not exposed to financial risk.
- Support the commercial team in developing quotes/business cases for out of scope/additional works
- Manage entry of cost information (time and materials) into Concerto CAFM through effective use of the PDAs (i pads)
- Help assist the account to identify areas for greater efficiency, productivity
- Ensure safety first, complying at all times with RAMS, COSHH, PPE requirements and gaining awareness and understanding of all MSS, MCS, MES and safety policies and procedures
- Actively help develop a safety culture on the account by reporting CC/PI, taking part and feeding into H&S forums and initiatives and supporting our sub-contractors as required.
- Gain PTS Sentinel training to support trackside delivery works if required
- You will be encouraged actively develop and make use of training opportunities to help you fulfil your personal goals and those of the business
- Encouraged to make maximum use of regular 1-2-1's and reviews to develop your potential
