    One of our clients within the Facility Management sector is currently looking to employ an EC&I Engineer to join their team on a full time Temporary basis to provide general maintenance and repairs on a static site in the Birmingham area.

    Being a part of the maintenance team you will ensure the facility's mechanical, electrical and controls systems are maintained and in working order to ensure maximum availability and output.


    • Fault finding and maintaining of plant electrical and C&I equipment
    • Undertaking / assisting in plant developments & projects
    • Setting to work and supervising contractors
    • Assist in outage planning, scheduling and coordination
    • Planning day-to-day maintenance of mechanical systems
    • Maintain the professional image at all times.
    • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with all employees & client employees and representatives.

    Essential Skills:

    • A recognised (electrically biased) engineering qualification at HNC / ONC level or equivalent
    • Extensive knowledge of C&I systems in particular SCADA systems
    • Full driver's licence
    • Previous experience in an engineering role at a power generation/energy from waste/industrial process facility.
    • Previous experience with continuous monitoring equipment
    • Experience with a permit-to-work system and also with Safe Systems of Work
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to working
    • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
