The opportunity
They are currently seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is a key leadership role where you will take ownership of projects, lead design teams, and work closely with clients from concept through to completion. Key responsibilities
* Lead the electrical design on a wide range of building services projects across multiple sectors.

* Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
* Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development activities.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
* Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
About you
* Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it (IET or equivalent).
* Proven experience in electrical design within the UK building services industry.
* Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE, etc.).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable working on a variety of projects and managing competing priorities.
* A collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate to join a leading MEP team in Reading, Theale. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in electrical building services design, who is ready to lead projects and teams while delivering excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead MEP engineering teams on a variety of projects, including design, supervision, and mentoring.
