What You'll Typically Be Involved In:
* Assisting in the design and coordination of electrical services for commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments in the UK
* Producing electrical drawings, reports, and technical specifications
* Collaborating with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure cohesive design delivery
* Participating in design reviews and ensuring designs comply with UK standards and regulations
* Working closely with senior engineers and project leads in remote team settings

Key Requirements Across Roles:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical building services design
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit experience with Amtech, Dialux, or Relux is a plus
* Solid understanding of UK building regulations and electrical standards
* Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

We have partnered with a respected and forward-thinking Building Services consultancy that is looking to grow its team with the addition of an Intermediate Electrical Engineer. If you have 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering and hold a qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering innovative electrical design solutions, supporting senior engineers, and contributing to projects from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and delivery of electrical systems across a variety of building services projects

Collaborate with senior engineers to create integrated and efficient design solutions

Support projects through all stages - from early concept to final handover

Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance and quality standards

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects on time and within budget

What Were Looking For:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector

A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Proficiency in Amtech and lighting design software

Solid knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and British Standards

Experience supporting projects through all phases

A passion for sustainable design and energy efficiency

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
