What you'll be doing:
Contributing to electrical designs across a diverse portfolio of building projects
Supporting delivery across all RIBA stages, from concept through to completion
Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
Attending site visits and supporting project delivery
Collaborating closely with architects and other engineers in a highly integrated design process
What they're looking for:
2-5 years' experience in electrical building services design
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field
Experience using Amtech and Dialux
Familiarity with UK building regulations and design standards
Strong communication and teamworking abilities
Interest in sustainable, low-carbon design approaches
Ambition to pursue Chartership (support provided)

They have an in-house team of designers and technicians and are looking to add to this with a new team member that has a background in architecture as well as exposure to working on mechanical and electrical detailing too. Typical work/projects will relate to using autocad to draw up plans/sections/elevations and also piping and layouts. There's a mix of building types with most of the work focusing on modifications to existing buildings. Significant experience of working to UK building regulations will be required for this.
