They are looking for a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the electrical design for Data Centre projects. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the electrical design and specification for projects within the Data Centre sector.Produce detailed electrical schematics and ensure alignment with company standards.Develop and refine electrical design standards.Mentor junior engineers and oversee their professional development.Manage the preparation of tender packages, as well as monitor quality and installation throughout the projectCollaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to deliver solutions tailored to project needs.Develop project scopes in conjunction with design teams and clients.Regular site visits to ensure design integrity and implementation.Confidently utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit.
What You Need:
Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartered status is an advantage but not essential).10+ years of experience as a Senior Engineer, with a proven track record in electrical design for Data Centre projects.Expertise in electrical design techniques and standards such as ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS, and EN.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit is a plus.Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers.Solid experience managing the design and specification of electrical systems.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
