The Role:
You'll play a central role in shaping electrical design solutions across commercial, residential, and public sector projects. Reporting to an Associate or Director, you'll take ownership of technical delivery, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and see your designs come to life - from concept through to completion.
What You'll Be Doing:
Taking the lead on electrical design for a wide range of building services projects
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Collaborating closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams
Ensuring accurate and timely production of technical documentation
Coordinating with BIM/Revit teams to uphold quality and consistency
Keeping an eye on budgets and commercial goals

What You Bring:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
5+ years of experience within an MEP consultancy environment
Progressing towards (or already holding) IEng or CEng status
Solid understanding of lighting, power, and life safety systems
Great communication and report-writing skills
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux (or similar tools)

Their client base tends to be Client/architecturally led and offers a very collaborative office culture. Their projects tend to be mainly residential and heritage. You will get the opportunity to work on a project from the initial concept design working all the way through to stage 4 detail and delivery.
You will be responsible for leading and maintaining a range of projects aswell as assisting in developing technical capability of more junior electrical engineers. You will have ideally worked to a senior level for the last 2-3 years and will have successfully delivered a range of projects.
You will have at least 5 years' experience in electrical engineering and working towards your CEng status if not already achieved and ideally have experience in RevitMEP.
