Job Description
The data centre sector is a significant focus for them, and they are seeking a Cost Manager to join the team. This permanent role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to high-profile projects across the UK and Europe.

Your experience should demonstrate a strong background in cost management for civil, structural, and architectural works. Familiarity with the data centre sector is advantageous. You'll have excellent technical skills, thrive in a collaborative environment, and take ownership of your responsibilities.

This role involves guiding clients through all project phases, from feasibility to post-contract, ensuring they achieve maximum value. Key skills include negotiation, procurement, contract management, financial risk reduction, and continuous performance improvement. Expertise in commercial pricing, modeling, and strategies to optimize value for clients is also essential.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying
  • Chartered with RICS or equivalent
  • Strong skills in measurement and cost planning (NRM2)
  • Familiarity with JCT, NEC, and FIDIC contracts
  • Commercially astute with negotiation expertise
  • Excellent communicator and team player
