Irwell Valley HA is a registered Social Landlord that provides front line Housing support to 16,000 people across 7500 homes over Greater Manchester. Community Resourcing through the Resourcing Group and Eden Brown have worked with Irwell Valley at some capacity
providing interim and permanent staffing for well over a decade which includes across Housing Management, Supported and Sheltered Housing and their technical services which includes Maintenance, Facilities Management and Repairs. Irwell Valley were keen
to change their focus and size of their Housing management function and required support; this included recruiting Housing Officers, ASB Officers and Income Officers.
Approach:
- Had Teams calls with two key line managers to ascertain the recruitment need
- Agreed recruitment timelines and processes with the hiring managers
- Established the main area of support was across Community Safety and Housing Management
Solutions:
- The Lead Consultant was able to reach out to his network within Social Housing of 15 years to attract the right type of individuals required
- Due to significant changes for the current employees taking voluntary redundancy, Eden Brown were able to support a number of them into new interim roles elsewhere
