Senior Public Health Design Engineer
Location: Edenbridge, Kent

An established and respected building services consultancy based in Edenbridge, Kent, is currently seeking a Senior Public Health Design Engineer to join its expert team. About the Role
The Senior Public Health Design Engineer will lead the design and coordination of water, drainage, and sanitation systems for a wide variety of building projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to design delivery and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and specify public health systems including above and below-ground drainage, hot and cold water services, rainwater harvesting, and greywater recycling
* Lead design teams on multiple concurrent projects from concept through to completion
* Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and ensure quality and compliance across all public health designs
* Coordinate with other MEP disciplines, architects, and external stakeholders
* Undertake site inspections, surveys, and technical reviews
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK and international codes and standards
* Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts
Requirements
* Degree in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
* Minimum of 5 years experience in public health design within the building services consultancy sector
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and international codes such as BS EN and IPC standards
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and design software such as Revit MEP and Navisworks
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Experience with international projects is a distinct advantage
