Job description

Title: Plumber

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Contract: Temp to Perm

Our client who is one of the leading companies with the FM sector are currently looking to employ a Plumber on a Temp to Perm full time basis based on a static site in Portsmouth, Hampshire, The main purpose of the role will be to provide Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive works across the site.

HOURS OF WORK MON - FRI 8AM TO 5PM - 40HRS PER WEEK

BE PART OF AN ON-CALL ROTA

Responsibilities

  • General plumbing duties including repairs to toilets, taps, radiators, shower controls and LTHW systems
  • Water checks - including shower head cleaning and repairs, flushing regimes, tap cleaning and temperature taking
  • Other works as commensurate with the grade, personal abilities and experience
  • Maintain records and complete service reports as appropriate
  • To work with and assist other members of the maintenance team as required
  • Undertake training to maintain and develop the requirements of the service
  • Adhere to h&s policies on site, ensuring that all work is undertaken in safe working conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with company safe systems of work, adhearing to risk assessments and method statement

Person Requirements

  • Fully qualified and experienced Plumber. (NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing Minimum)
  • Able to gain mod security clearance
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Water Management Experience
  • Legionella Awareness (Desirable)
  • Experience of building and facilities maintenance.
