Job description

A leading Yorkshire based Local Authority are in search for an Assets Planning Officer to join the team to aid, assist and implement the councils estate strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a number of elements of the overall estates plan, including
- Assisting the Asset Strategy and Performance Manager in developing any asset rationalisation related disposals programme and asset enhancement measures where appropriate
- Deliver, where required through acquisition or capital investment specialist accommodation for client portfolios.
- Advising all portfolios and providing solutions for capacity and sufficiency issues affecting strategic and operational service delivery
- Develop business plans, output specification and financial models to support decision making on the operational estate including asset rationalisation
- Liaison, management and monitoring of externally appointed consultants.
- Manage identified asset rationalisation related projects.
