Head of FM Technical Services
Job description
As the Head of Technical Services for the account you will have responsibility for the strategic development of a customer facing engineering service in collaboration with the workplace Management Team.
The role is to deliver excellence in all aspects of engineering & asset management. To ensure that the delivery method and measurement or performance of engineering services across the client portfolio ensures statutory compliance, audit readiness and equipment resilience. This to include ownership of Health and Safety and Engineering training and development.
You will have
„« Proven experience of critical engineering environments

„« Excellent communicator, able to quickly build relationships with others

„« Ability to travel widely within the UK
Qualifications
„« Electrical & mechanical qualifications applicable to the role.
„« IOSH or NEBOSH
„« Good general level of education, preferably to higher education level.
„« Professional qualifications & memberships
Experience
„« 5 years + experience working with critical environments.
„« Strong customer and client focus.
„« Supplier management ¡V must have experience of managing suppliers in a similar type of environment
„« Evidence of managing performance within engineering teams and identifying improvements
„« Team Player ¡V 5 years¡¦ experience within a large engineering team
„« Proven track record of achievement
„« Able to work out of hours to support service delivery needs as necessary
Skills
„« Proven ability to motivate, lead and develop people
„« Ability to interface across all levels of the organisation
„« Ability to negotiate and influence across Client and Supplier organisations
„« Computer literate ¡V good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
„« Good written and verbal communication. Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
„« Ability to build and maintain relationships
„« Ability to lead motivate and develop a team
„« Excellent time management and organisational skills
„« Ability to react quickly and decisively when faced with a problem or issue
„« Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
„« Commercial and financial awareness
