Facilities Manager (Female)

My client an expanding Womens mental health support services provider are looking for a Female Facilities Manager, initially on a 3 month contract , but with a view of the role going permanent.

Rate per hour £17-19.00
37.5 hours per week with mileage rate.
Salary : upto £32878
Car driver required, Post based H/O Bristol with occasional need to visit sites around Bristol and South Gloucs.

Due to Covid-19 there could be the option of working from home.

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

To ensure the organisation has in place the optimum facilities to support the necessary locations and working environment and to ensure future needs are met. To oversee Health & Safety at all offices. To ensure that accommodation standards and Health and Safety practice is adhered to in our accommodation based services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Management and administration of office-related contracts, including leases, cleaning, car parking and security, including CCTV.

* Management of contracts for the provision of utilities, IT support, mobile and fixed line telephones, broadband lines and IT equipment for the whole of the organisation with the aim of achieving best value for money, and overseeing administration of these contracts on a day to day basis.
* Responsibility for buildings repairs and maintenance (internal and external) at the organisation's offices

* Organisation and management of office moves and re-organisations.
* Investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises, leases negotiations and set up of new premises.
* Expected to take the lead role in Health & Safety both at our offices and accommodation services. To maintain and develop safe office working practices, carrying out regular Health and Safety checks (e.g. risk assessments, fire alarms, first aid boxes)

* Liaising with Managers on staff mandatory Health and Safety training and additional Health and Safety training (Fire Marshals, First Aiders)
* Ensuring all equipment and IT is fit for purpose. To ensure that policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and adhered to.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Qualifications
Degree educated or GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent

Experience
A minimum of 3 years proven experience working at a similar level
A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
Proven experience of management/supervision of office administration environment
Proven track record of supervision/management of staff
