Job description

My client a large housing provider in the Nottinghamshire area currently require a compliance and safety officer to join their expanding asset management team.

The role is responsible for administering and leading on all aspects of Compliance and Safety (inc. Gas, Electric, Legionella, Asbestos, Fire, Radon, Lifts etc.) for the housing stock, staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations, Approved Codes of Practice (ACOP), official guidance standards and best practice, ensuring that a robust performance management system is implemented leading to effective compliance being achieved.

Knowledge required:

Statutory compliance knowledge across social housing and
corporate buildings including:
- Gas Safety
- Electrical Safety
- Fire Safety
- Legionella Management
- Asbestos Management - Radon Management

- HSE legislation.
- Health and Safety processes.
- An understanding of Housing Associations and their roles and responsibilities in relation to the provision of housing and related services and compliance and safety obligations.

The role is required Mon-Fri for 37 hours but these can be worked flexibly.

Candidates must hold a valid driving license.
