We have a fantastic job to offer a Senior BIM Manager. Based in North Yorkshire, our client can offer a long-term, flexible office/work-from-home balance in order to attract top talent from a broad geographical range. This is an award-winning house-builder, really driving innovation in their sector through clever use of technology and manufacturing.

This opportunity provides an overview of the design lead technology, processes and policies of our client to ensure there is collaboration throughout the whole construction process. Aiming to achieve BIM Level 2 accreditation over the course of next year, as the company also goes through an expansion phase, they are looking to appoint a Senior BIM Manager who has worked through this process and could lead their internal journey. They hope you'll enjoy working in an extremely dynamic and innovative environment, looking to challenge technology and its applications in order to help society, by creating more sustainable and better social housing. In return they can offer a very creative support system to help you explore the uses BIM can be put to in modern methods of housebuilding a generous salary package and the chance to work from home regularly (office visits will also be required through the month, sporadically)

In addition to the below technical requirements and responsibilities, you will be highly proficient in the use of Navisworks, as clash detection will be an ongoing element of the role. Your background - architecture, construction, engineering or product design - is less relevant than your focus and experience in utilising BIM.

* Certification with a body such as BRE or BSI preferable in BIM Level 2, PAS1192-2 or ISO 19650-2
* Experience working with BIM 360 Docs, BIM 360 Design
* Experience working with COBie Data and IFC formats
* Ensure compliance with the BIM protocols and BIM Execution Plan
* Training or upskilling colleagues in specific software programmes
* Keeping up-to-date with advancements in building technology
* Oversee the digital workflow of files and drawing production and working closely with design colleagues responsible for producing models
* Working with leadership team liaise with internal and external customers, end users, statutory bodies and design consultants to ensure smooth delivery of the project through all stages of design, design for manufacture, delivery and installation.
