Job description

Eden Brown are seeking a highly efficient Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker to work for a leading housing provider covering the Merseyside/Cheshire border on a contract running until the end of October

Initially the role will be working from home during certain restrictions however, there will be the occasional work scheduled out and about on a patch of projects

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Undertake MERIT assessment to determine level of risk and needs of people and families suffering domestic abuse.
* In partnership with other agencies develop plans to protect high risk clients and their families whilst maintaining an independent role on behalf of the client keeping their safety a key focus of the plan.
* Work with high risk victims to help them access services to keep them and their children safe.
* Provide advocacy, emotional and practical support and information to victims including in relation to legal options, housing, health and finance.
* Attend court hearings with the client where support is required.
* Manage a case load to promote independent living, ensuring each client receives the appropriate service individual to their personal circumstances.
* To accurately record risk assessments, support plans and outcomes in QL case management.

Due to the nature of this role interested candidates must have an Enhanced DBS Check
