Permit Manager - West London - up to 50K + benefits
A new & exciting opportunity has arisen for a Permit Manager within a major teaching Hospital
The ideal person for this role remains calm under pressure, commands respect, has the confidence of their colleagues and can communicate effectively at all levels.
You will also be confident in making decisions and follow up your decisions with action, achieving objectives by motivating and working through others.
Be able to view short-term targets in the light of longer-term objectives, work within agreed systems and procedures, and maintain accurate records.
The ideal candidate will continuously pursue high standards, embrace change, recognise improvement opportunities and learn from experience.
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices and carry out Dynamic Risk Assessments where required.
You will be responsible for the control and coordination of safe systems of work for contractors at site to ensure legal and contractual obligations. To understand the requirements in providing a flexible contract contractor administration service to the Account.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies & be familiar with Hard FM
Essential
- IT literate in MS Office and systems management software
- Management experience in dealing with sub-contractors and supply chain.
- Previous responsibility in managing policies and systems such as H&S, QA, environmental and corporate while complying with current and appropriate legislation and standards.
- Able to co-ordinate and manage multiple projects/works end-to-end across a diverse portfolio of multi-site facilities.
- Experience of contractor/supply chain selection and general procurement processes.
- Proven track record in the development of positive contractor/Client relations and communications
Desirable
- Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH or NEBOSH
- Formal Training in some or all the following
HTM02 Medical Gas Pressure Systems (MGPS)
HTM03 Heating & Ventilation (HVAC)
HTM04 Water Hygiene
HTM06 Electrical Low Voltage
HTM06 Electrical High Voltage
Steam & Pressure Systems (PSSR)
