Hybrid Working - Technical Team - Residential & Building Remediation
Salary: c£50k (dependent on experience)
An established and growing technical Architects teams is looking to appoint a Project Manager with Quantity Surveying (QS) experience to join its Manchester-based team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to become part of a collaborative and inclusive working environment, where employees are encouraged to contribute to the wider business as well as their local studio.
The Role
The successful Project Manager will be responsible for administering residential cladding and remediation projects, alongside delivering a wider range of Employer's Agent services for leading affordable housing providers.
There will also be opportunities to become involved in the procurement and delivery of new-build residential projects, providing excellent scope for professional development and career progression.
The role will involve working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, so strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships are essential.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and administering residential cladding, remediation and new-build projects.
Providing Employer's Agent services to leading affordable housing providers.
Supporting procurement and project delivery activities.
Administering JCT building contracts, including payment processes and contract arrangements.
Chairing and minuting project and stakeholder meetings.
Preparing cost estimates and producing clear, accurate cost reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Applying a sound understanding of the Building Safety Regulations and associated processes.
Contributing to the continued growth and development of the technical team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in project management, contract administration and/or quantity surveying, ideally with experience across residential construction, remediation or affordable housing.
They will have:
Experience administering JCT building contracts.
A good understanding of payment processes and contractual arrangements.
Experience preparing cost estimates and cost reports.
The confidence to chair meetings and produce clear, accurate minutes.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
A working knowledge of the Building Safety Regulations and processes.
The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
A collaborative approach and the ambition to develop within a growing technical practice.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Architect to join a highly regarded luxury architecture and interiors practice, working across a portfolio of exceptional high-end residential projects in London.
This is a hands-on role for an Architect who enjoys being close to the delivery of a project and is confident working with contractors, consultants and design teams to ensure the quality and detail of the original design vision is maintained through construction.
You'll be required to be on site one day per week, with the remainder of your working week operating on a hybrid basis.
About the role
You'll be working closely with the wider architectural and interiors team, supporting the successful delivery of some truly beautiful residential projects.
The role will include:
* Regular site visits and monitoring of progress
* Liaising with contractors, consultants and suppliers
* Reviewing technical drawings, details and construction information
* Helping to resolve technical queries and site issues
* Monitoring quality, finishes and design intent
* Attending site meetings and coordinating with the wider project team
* Supporting snagging and project close-out
* Ensuring the high standards expected across each project are consistently maintained
About you
I am looking for a qualified Architect or experienced Technical Architect with solid technical and extensive construction experience, ideally gained within high-end residential or hospitality projects in the UK.
You'll be confident on site, comfortable speaking with contractors and consultants, and have a strong eye for detail. Just as importantly, you'll have a genuine appreciation for beautifully designed, highly crafted spaces and understand the level of care required to deliver them.
Experience working on high-value London residential projects would be particularly advantageous.

- 6-month contract, with potential to extend

- Location: London
- Working pattern: Hybrid, with 1 day per week on site, 1 day wfh and rest in West London office.
