Join an established consultancy delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across diverse sectors. We're looking for an experienced and commercially aware Associate Electrical Engineer to lead projects, mentor teams, and contribute to business development in our Oxfordshire office.

The Role
As an Associate, you'll manage a team of engineers, lead design work from concept through delivery, and support the strategic growth of the business. You'll bring deep technical knowledge, oversee complex projects, and liaise directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead multiple MEP projects, from concept design to site delivery
Manage project budgets, programmes, and resource planning
Provide technical leadership, including detailed electrical design and peer review
Coordinate with architects, surveyors, and contractors across multidisciplinary teams
Contribute to business planning, financial performance, and workload forecasting
Mentor junior engineers and support their development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and new clients
Maintain high client satisfaction and promote repeat business
Represent the business at coordination and strategic planning meetings

What We're Looking For
Proven experience delivering electrical design services in a consultancy or contractor environment
Strong leadership and client-facing experience
Skilled in project and resource management
Commercially aware with a strong understanding of risk and financial performance
Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
Relevant engineering degree (or equivalent) and working towards CEng or already chartered
High level of technical competence and clear communication skills
