The Role

This is a broad, influential and highly visible position that extends far beyond traditional executive support.

Working directly with the Directors, you will act as a trusted adviser and organisational anchor, helping to ensure priorities remain on track, objectives are delivered and the business continues to operate efficiently. You will be responsible for driving structure, accountability and consistency across a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

Alongside executive support responsibilities, you will take ownership of compliance processes, ISO management systems, business administration and operational coordination, ensuring that the organisation maintains the highest professional standards.

This role requires someone with confidence, presence and resilience-an individual capable of constructively challenging senior stakeholders, providing guidance when needed and ensuring commitments are followed through.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive support to the Directors across all areas of the business.Manage complex diaries, meetings, appointments and business schedules.Coordinate leadership meetings, agendas and action tracking.Prepare reports, presentations, proposals and senior-level business documentation.Oversee and maintain company ISO accreditations, policies and compliance procedures.Support audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor key objectives and ensure accountability across senior stakeholders.Drive organisation, structure and process improvement initiatives.Coordinate projects and business-critical activities across multiple departments.Act as a key liaison between Directors, employees, clients and external partners.Assist with governance, administration, operational and strategic business activities.Identify efficiencies and implement improvements to systems and procedures.Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced and credible professional who thrives in a dynamic business environment.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior PA, Chief of Staff, Business Support Manager or similar senior-level support role.Experience managing ISO standards, compliance frameworks or quality management systems.Exceptional organisational and project management skills.Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.The ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.High levels of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.Excellent Microsoft Office and business systems skills.The Person

The Role Overview

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial management of interior fit-out projects from pre-construction through to final account. Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction & Procurement

Project Delivery & Cost Control

Project values typically range from £5m to £40m+, often involving structural alterations, reconfiguration, and full CAT A / CAT B fit-outs.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to play a pivotal role within the business, working closely with Directors, Project Leads, and clients to drive commercial performance and project success.

The Role

As Senior Commercial Manager, you will take full ownership of the commercial strategy and delivery across multiple projects, ensuring strong financial governance, effective risk management, and successful project outcomes.

You will lead and mentor a team of Surveyors while working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on complex D&B and cut & carve schemes.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial management across multiple D&B and refurbishment projectsDevelop and implement commercial strategies to maximise project profitabilityOversee cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting across all schemesManage and support a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial staffTake responsibility for contract administration, primarily under JCT D&B contractsLead subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and appointmentReview and approve valuations, variations, and final accountsProvide accurate forecasting and cost/value reporting to senior leadershipIdentify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, including value engineeringMaintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partnersContribute to pre-construction and tender processes, including bid supportCandidate ProfileEssential ExperienceProven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Lead role within a main contractor or D&B environmentStrong background delivering cut & carve, refurbishment, or structural alteration projectsExperience managing projects within Central LondonDemonstrable ability to lead and develop commercial teamsStrong understanding of JCT contracts, particularly Design & BuildExcellent commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple high-value projects in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similarRICS accreditation (or equivalent) preferredWhat's On OfferOpportunity to join a growing, well-regarded contractor with a strong pipeline of Central London projectsKey leadership role with real influence over commercial strategy and deliveryExposure to high-profile D&B and cut & carve schemesClear pathway for career progression into senior leadershipSupportive and collaborative working environmentHighly competitive salary and package
