An independently owned building services and environmental design consultancy are currently looking to hire a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their building services team within the London Office.
They currently have a team of 22 Employees in the London office and focus on creating sustainable buildings which not only use less energy, but look, feel and work beautifully. Through collaboration, debate and technical analysis they challenge the obvious and accepted norms, seeking change, a better way, or reinforcing tried and tested solutions.
Their client base tends to be Client/architecturally led and offers a very collaborative office culture. Their projects tend to be mainly residential and heritage. You will get the opportunity to work on a project from the initial concept design working all the way through to stage 4 detail and delivery.
You will be responsible for leading and maintaining a range of projects aswell as assisting in developing technical capability of more junior electrical engineers. You will have ideally worked to a senior level for the last 2-3 years and will have successfully delivered a range of projects.
You will have at least 5 years' experience in electrical engineering and working towards your CEng status if not already achieved and ideally have experience in RevitMEP.

About the RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll report directly to the Head of Department and play a key role in delivering MEP design projects in a varied and stimulating portfolio of work. Leading mechanical design stages from feasibility through RIBA Stages 3-5
Producing schematics, calculations, technical schedules, and tender documents

Contributing to the development of in-house design standards and BIM/CAD templates
Working closely with clients and utilities providers on systems upgrades and infrastructure transitions (e.g., Gas to Grid Power)
