The Role

What You'll Need

An established building services consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Principal (or above) Electrical Design Engineer to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a client-facing engineer to lead a growing team, drive high-value projects, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the practice.

The Role
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will take the lead on projects valued up to £300m across a wide range of sectors. You'll be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle (RIBA Stages 1-6), providing technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative, sustainable electrical designs. You will also lead and mentor a team of 8 engineers, developing talent while maintaining a culture of collaboration and quality. They work across a mix of projects including residential, commercial, education and mixed-use.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver electrical design on large-scale, complex projects up to £300m in value.
Act as the primary client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships.
