A leading consultancy is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their MEP team in Oxford. This is an exciting chance to be part of a growing company at the forefront of digital transformation, sustainability, and social impact.

Attend project meetings and conduct site inspections.
Required Experience:
Experience in mechanical building services design (consultant or contractor).
Relevant degree (HNC/HND) and progress towards IEng or CEng status.

We're a well-respected name in building services (especially in the luxury residential space), and were growing our in-house design squad. Now, we're on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer who's ready to roll up their sleeves and help shape some seriously impressive spaces.
The Role
You'll be designing and delivering slick, sustainable mechanical systems for everything from ultra-modern homes to complex commercial sites. Think comfort, efficiency, and performance-all designed by you.
You'll be doing things like:
Turning big ideas into detailed designs from concept to construction
Producing crystal-clear drawings, reports, and specs (RIBA stages and all)
Running calculations using the latest industry software
Collaborating with everyone from architects to contractors (and probably a few coffee machines along the way)
Visiting project sites, attending meetings, and keeping everything on track

What You'll Bring
Solid experience in mechanical building services design (consultancy or contractor - we're open)
HNC/HND or a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
Working towards (or already got) IEng or CEng? Even better
Confident with CAD and Revit (BIM know-how gets bonus points)
A team player who communicates clearly and tackles problems with a smile
A full UK driving licence (some site visits, remember!)

The Role
As part of a highly experienced and collaborative design team, you'll contribute to a broad range of projects-from high-end homes to secure facilities. This is a role where no two days are the same and every design detail matters.
You'll be:
Creating detailed electrical designs using Amtech, Dialux/Relux
Producing CAD and Revit drawings and documentation
Attending site visits and client meetings
Assisting with end-to-end project delivery

What You'll Need
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Minimum of 2 years in a similar electrical design role
Proficient in design tools like Amtech, Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, and ideally Revit
Understanding of current UK building regs and electrical standards
Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Progress toward IEng or CEng is a bonus

What We're Looking For
