Intermediate Mechanical Engineer - Building Services (Remote, South Africa)

We're partnering with several top-tier Building Services consultancies looking to hire Intermediate Mechanical Engineers to join their remote teams. What You'll Typically Be Involved In:
Assisting in the design and coordination of mechanical systems, including HVAC, ventilation, and public health services for commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments across the UK

Producing mechanical layouts, performance specifications, and technical reports

Collaborating with electrical, architectural, and structural teams to deliver cohesive and efficient design solutions

Participating in design reviews and ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and sustainability standards

Supporting senior engineers and project managers within a collaborative remote environment

Key Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

Minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical building services design

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit experience with IES VE, Hevacomp, or similar design software is advantageous

Solid understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE guidelines

Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your workload independently in a remote setting
