Sustainability Consultant - BREEAM & WELL Specialist

A leading global property and construction consultancy is looking for a passionate and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their growing sustainability team. With a rapidly expanding national presence and clients across both public and private sectors, this is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of green building certifications, particularly BREEAM and WELL.

This role comes with a clear pathway to becoming their Certifications Lead for the UK, managing the BREEAM, WELL and GRESB service lines.

Key Responsibilities:Manage BREEAM certification processes from inception to completionLead WELL Building Standard assessments and ensure projects meet wellness criteriaCollaborate with clients, architects, and design teams to integrate sustainability strategiesProduce high-quality reports and guidance notes for clients and internal teamsDeliver workshops and host sustainability-focused design meetingsStay current with relevant legislation and sustainability standards in the built environmentSupport the preparation of sustainability content for bids and tendersAbout You:Qualified BREEAM Assessor with experience delivering BREEAM New Construction assessmentsWELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP) or strong understanding of WELL certificationKnowledge of additional certification schemes (e.g. LEED, SKA) is beneficialStrong project management and communication skillsProficient in BREEAM tools such as IES Tap and Tracker+Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. sustainability, environmental science, architecture, construction)Full UK driving licence and vehicle preferred (not essential for London-based roles)Why Apply?Join a nationally expanding sustainability team with global backingWork across varied and impactful projects in both public and private sectorsBenefit from exceptional training and development opportunities, including chartership supportEnjoy a collaborative, agile working culture that supports innovation and career progressionCompetitive salary and benefits in a flexible working environment
