Senior / Associate Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM, LEED & WELL)
London | Up to £70k | Hybrid working

Deliver meaningful sustainability outcomes on landmark projects across the UK and beyond.

A leading global planning, engineering, and design consultancy is seeking a talented Senior or Associate Sustainability Consultant to join its growing London team. You'll play a key role in delivering and leading sustainability certifications - including BREEAM, LEED, and WELL - across a diverse portfolio of high-profile developments in the UK, the Middle East, and internationally.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sustainability specialist to step into a leadership role, collaborating with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver integrated, performance-led design solutions.

The Role
As a Senior / Associate Sustainability Consultant, you will:
* Lead the delivery of BREEAM, LEED, and WELL assessments, ensuring high-quality, client-focused outcomes.
* Manage sustainability certification from concept through to post-construction stage.
* Support and guide project teams through compliance, evidence gathering, and verification processes.
* Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and wider design teams to embed sustainability into every stage of design.
* Advise clients on Net Zero Carbon, ESG frameworks, and health & wellbeing strategies.
* Mentor junior consultants, providing technical guidance and professional development.
* Contribute to business development, supporting bids and proposals to grow the sustainability offering.

About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
* Significant experience delivering BREEAM, LEED, and WELL assessments.
* Accreditation as a BREEAM Assessor/AP LEED and WELL accreditation desirable.
* Strong technical understanding of sustainability frameworks and building performance principles.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the confidence to work directly with clients and design teams.
* Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring junior staff.
* A collaborative mindset with a passion for driving sustainability outcomes across the built environment.
* Relevant degree in sustainability, environmental design, or a related discipline.
