A well-established building services design consultancy with offices across the UK is looking to grow its sustainability offering by hiring a Sustainability Consultant. Known for their technical expertise and collaborative approach, they deliver Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) engineering services across a range of sectors - from commercial and residential to healthcare and education.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team on projects that have a real environmental impact.

What you'll be doing:

Undertaking energy assessments and carbon modelling across new and existing buildingsSupporting compliance with UK Building Regulations (Part L, Part O)Carrying out overheating analysis in line with CIBSE TM52 and TM59Delivering thermal modelling and dynamic simulations using IES-VESupporting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Whole Life Carbon reporting using tools such as OneClick LCAContributing to the delivery of environmental assessments including BREEAM, WELL, and LEEDWorking collaboratively with engineers and architects to integrate sustainable strategies into building designsStaying up to date with industry standards, emerging legislation, and best practices

About you:
You'll ideally have 2-3 years' experience in sustainability or energy consulting, strong working knowledge of IES-VE, and experience supporting certification and carbon assessments. Most importantly, you'll be passionate about sustainable design and motivated to help clients reduce their environmental impact.

A leading global multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Head of Sustainability to grow their UK team and deliver innovative, low-energy building solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead technical delivery, develop strategic sustainability services, and collaborate with international industry leaders.

About the Role
As the Head of Sustainability, you will:
* Lead the Sustainability Team to deliver sustainability assessment and design consultancy services.
* Manage and deliver projects in Building Physics, Carbon Reduction, Sustainable Building Design, and engineering.
* Provide technical expertise in NABERS, BREEAM, LEED, TM65, and Part O/Part L and embodied carbon assessments.
* Develop and implement carbon reduction strategies and provide guidance on sustainable design.
* Manage business development, client relationships, and bid support to grow the sustainability function.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, helping them advance their careers.

About You
* Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Building Services, or related field.
* Extensive experience in green building assessment and sustainability consultancy services.
* Expertise in ASHRAE 90.1 or 90.2, building physics (thermal bridging, air movement, wind, solar), and carbon reduction strategies.
* Proven experience in business development and growing sustainability services.
* Familiarity with Middle Eastern project experience is desirable.
