BIM Manager
London | Industrial & Logistics Architecture Team
Permanent role, with 2 days wfh

A leading London architectural practice specialising in industrial and logistics projects is looking for an experienced BIM Manager to join its team.

The Role

You will take responsibility for the practice's BIM standards, Revit workflows and digital development, supporting project team and improving how the practice works.

Key responsibilities:
* Develop, review and maintain BIM protocols.
* Create and manage Revit templates and families.
* Set up and audit Revit models.
* Induct new staff and provide ongoing Revit/BIM training.
* Provide technical BIM and Revit support to project teams.
* Develop and implement AI and automation tools/scripts for Revit and BIM.
* Drive improvements in digital workflows and BIM standards.

The right person for this will have strong Revit and BIM experience within an architectural practice, ideally with experience in industrial, logistics or large-scale commercial projects.

You should be confident with BIM standards, Revit templates, model auditing and staff training, with an interest in automation and AI.

Experience with Dynamo, Python, Revit API or similar tools would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of BIM within a growing London practice and play a key role in developing its digital capabilities.

Role Overview
The BIM Coordinator will support the Senior BIM Manager in implementing the company's digital transformation strategy and advancing BIM standards, processes, and workflows across the organisation. This role involves close collaboration with design, construction teams, and external partners to optimise efficiencies and enhance model coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily Revit support and mentoring for project teams.
Manage and maintain Revit models, templates, and content libraries.
Coordinate multiple federated models with subcontractors and consultants.
Develop and implement project BIM execution plans and CDE workflows.
Deliver training, inductions, and ongoing support for staff Revit champions.

Essential Skills & Experience

3-5 years in a similar BIM role.

Knowledge of AutoCAD, ISO 19650, and CDE best practices.
Experience with BIM validation, QA processes, and Revit rendering tools (Enscape or similar).
Strong planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for emerging digital design and construction technologies.

Experience with Autodesk Navisworks, Dynamo, Scan-to-BIM, Point Cloud data, or AI design tools.

About You:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
* 6+ years' experience in technical design and project delivery, ideally in design & build or multidisciplinary environments.
* Proficient in Revit, BIM coordination tools, AutoCAD, and related software.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction detailing, building codes, and material technologies.
* Experience in fast-track or design & build projects, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication skills, leadership ability, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Knowledge of sustainability standards (LEED, WELL, BREEAM) and regulatory frameworks (CDM, Building Regulations) is highly desirable.
